Sold FS: 12" TC Sounds LMS

I have a prototype subwoofer straight from the TC Sounds factory up for grabs.

12"

38.5mm xmax

700 watts RMS

single 2-ohm voice coil

It has been barely used, powered by a Phoenix Gold x600.1

I just have no project to install it.

neither- not sure which one that is... looks more like a tc3000 to me... could MAYBE be the 4000 (although those had the ti baskets...)

its a quick detactch top assem. right? if so, could ya unscrew it and take a pic of the coil?

sorry for such a late response, I had my hands tied with work these past few days.

if I remember correctly, this sub was a prototype for eclipse, though it closely resembles the LMS-4000. It has a TC-9 Motor and the quick detach assembly.

I got it straight from TC Sounds through Dalucifer on this forum a while back.

I'm taking pics right now, so i'll post them in a few minutes.

did they give u any box spec's recommendations?

They only number they gave me was 3 cu.ft. sealed large box. However, looking at the TC website, a 15" LMS-5400 can go as small as 2.3cu.ft.

I did manage to build a box around 2.5 and it was my top SQ sub. Flatter response than my RL-p and w6v2, both sealed also.

awesome... but you cant base box specs on the 5400... not even in the same leage... bump for ya, though, hope you get it sold!

and most definitely I know the 5400 is a much bigger beast, i just used its specs to show that the box doesnt have to be 3 cubic feet to sound good.
