Ive heard good and bad things about Alpine subs. How well do these perform? like the sound quality, amount of power there able to take, etc.

Lookin for diffrent subs then what i have now...might be a possible buy.

they handle tons of power and get really loud for the price. some say the sq isint good but personally i like it. they will prob take ~1000rms if its clean power and if your not reaching mechanical limits.

agreed get loud and handle a lot of power. i havent had a problem with mine sounding bad.

yea they can take more then rated and they do get loud. They sound good to me too.

Just make sure you are not clipping and everything is set right and they will be good

I have 2 type r 12"s and an aq1200d.but sometimes on my bass knob the red light shows up that they are clipping..my friend told me not to worry about it...is there something wrong?

I would buy these the only reason for not is im trying to get ride of my 2 subs... Know anyone who wants 2 jbl gtos? 12" single 4 ohm. tryin to sell for 130.
