Well i had 2 12" L5s and had what me and a couple others thought was too loud. Last night one of my L5s blew and i wasnt really mad because i have had my too loud system and now i want to settle down and go with something more SQ oriented. I have 1 12" L7 in a vented box that kicker made and i have my gain turned down a little bit so it sounds pretty good and is deff. loud enough. What is a good SQ sub for under $300? What size box, ported/sealed would be good for my budget?

If you really want SQ, totally ignore he sub and get the rest of the system sounding excellent first. Then add a sub crossed over really low to fill out the bottom end. Honestly just about any sub will do once you have good midbass from the front stage. Honestly with my current front stage I can turn the sub off with most music and barely notice that it isn't there.

Does any one know where to buy the arc audio subs or has any one seen a nib idq for sale. They stopped selling them at cardomain and I cant find them anywhere besides used on ebay which isnt my style.

Arc will sell direct to you if you do not have a local dealer.

Check their dealer listings and if there isn't one within a reasonable driving distance, e-mail them.

A good component set is the first step in a good sounding vehicle.

You'd be amazed at how much better the substage will sound once you have good midbass aswell. Blends and fills in much better.
