well i could see it's a pretty dumb idea to tow someone on a **** truck. his background story sounds sketchy too. him never calling 911. that would have been my second reaction after acknowledging the accident.

his loss though, unless if he really didn't care about the children and was just acting his grief to buy himself out of jail.

everyones out with there kids doing the same thing and it sucks that happend.. i dont think people think of the danger well doing it and dont think it would ever happen to them.. living with that on him is worse than jail time

man i cant image how bad he feels. He doesnt deserve jail time, even if he had been drinking a little (itd be a different story if he was shitfaced but it doesnt sound like he was)

Yeah but I would rather live with that and be free and live with that in jail, think about all the free time that would be on your mind, man that drive me crazy. Sorry to hear bout this, unfortunate to say the least.
