Does he have the Punch Hx2 or the Power Hx2. If both are powered and setup properly I can see the SoloX stomping the Punch's. Not by much but it will. But the Power Hx2's are pretty insane...

But it is all in the install man.

Either setup has the potential to beat the other. If someone doing 169.6db with a single 10 hasn't taught us that install is the key, I dont know what will. Point is, if you want the confidence of knowing you'll beat your buddy, you should concentrate on the installs, not just the speakers used.

my friend talked shit with his 1 12" L5 in the kicker ported box, i think 38HZ. He said his was louder than my 2 "no name subs" I told him my sealed enclosure in my yukon may not be that loud, but watch me put it in your honda and you tell me whos is louder? So I put it in and blew his socks off..... Everyone laughed at him. And they were all like **** ISH thats a bumpin sys.

o but it is, thats what fuels me to show and prove to people about what caraudio really is, its not always based on how big of speakers your using and how much power you have
