Friend pleased with his 2 re8s

My friend from KC, MO came out to visit me in PA this week. Yesterday we set out to build him a box for 2 8s.

I ordered him some re audio re8s and designed a 1.25 cube box tuned to 32hz with 26 sq inches of port for him.

Previously he had a 12" sony explod pentagon looking sub in a prefab sealed box. We hooked them up to a 4ohm final load and put it on his legacy 1000watt amp. Yea I know. Anyway, he loves them and is going to be looking for a better amp soon.

Not bad for about 140 total. 120 for the subs, 20 for the wood. I had all the rest of the stuff needed. Glue, paint, carpet, etc

I cant fricken wait to get my 3 RE8s into my truck... I have had them for 9 months just sitting around. Been to busy working on my other car to work on my truck... but now the system is all on its way!
