Make sure you're protected from MyWife aka CME-24 aka BlackWorm. If you're infected (you may already be), it'll corrupt files with these extensions:

*.doc

*.xls

*.mdb

*.mde

*.ppt

*.pps

*.zip

*.rar

*.pdf

*.psd

*.dmp

on the 3rd of each month; so Friday is the first day it will show itself. It's spread through email & disguises itself as winzip. So make sure anything you open doesn't have a double extension.

file.zip                                                                    .exe

shows up as

file.zip if you don't view the full name...
