just got my laptop back from being repaired, new screen, new HD, and a new CD drive....IBM full coverage for the win, didnt pay a dime....

what programs are a must when getting your new HD setup

It came with Norton 2004 but im thinking of ditching that

Just make sure you get all the drivers and a firewall/antivirus installed like avg and comodo firewall before you go around doing anything else.

I have an IBM as well with the accidental warranty?

What did you do to it to get all that replaced....at the end of three years of my warranty I plan on accidentally dropping it down 2 flights of stairs lol

well everyone needs different programs, but i install zoom player, cccp codec pack, pcdj red, office, utorrent, daemon tools, auslogics defag, ashampoo winoptimizer, dvd shrink, dvd decrypter, winrar and foxit reader on all my fresh installs

i dont run a firewall or anti virus

DivX and Quicktime are fvcking useless ...
Get K-Lite Mega Codec Pack or CCCP ... or VLC Media Player ...

uTorrent for torrent program ...

Get rid of Norton ASAP ... Get Kaspersky or NOD32 ... or, if you're cheap, AVG of Avast work okay.
