Freq ?

It depends on the sub. If you are in a competition or something, higher freq. tuning will usually get you higher pressures. If you tune too high in a everyday setup, then the bass tends to sound "muddy" or "boomy".

 
if you want it to sound good i wouldnt go past 38. any higher and it gets really bad on the sq side. i REALLY like 32 hz. i tried 38 and it was too muddy for me. 32 hz played LOW, and it could also keep up with quick beats.

mines at 32 hz and i love it. It gets low and are great at keeping up with double bass in the metal i listen to
