free cd burning programs?

I've been running an early 6.x version of Nero for the longest time... just got the huge "ultimate" Nero 7 and I must say... it's so bloated.

Nero is no longer just a burning ROM, they're trying to do everything.

Besides disk images, I use XP's built in CD burning service and iTunes for music.

what i hate is f*ckin nero trying to play my media files with that showtime shiz.

i dont even burn music cds.

DVD decrypter for dvd's (ps2 & video) and nero for data

you people realize you can do a custom install and only install the nero burning rom application, right?

i've never heard people ***** so much about software that they stole before

you're right, nero 7 is a lot different than nero 4, the one that made them popular, but you know what, it's fantastic

short of ******* you off and making you pancakes, it's everything you'd ever need a burning program to do, without having multiple programs installed, and worrying about conflicting drivers/services/codecs/resources

it burns cd's, dvd's, images, can do everything dvdcloner or dvdcopyx can do, can convert dvd's to mpeg-4, and convert music to mp3,wma,mp3plus, aac, convert ANY video file to any other video file, compile and author video dvd's, do that bs burn-on-labeling system, test your discs, drives, edit videos, edit photos, and even has advanced settings for plextor and lite-on drives

not to mention, it's burning service has a plug-in for windows media player, that does a hell of a lot better job than the one that comes with windows does, on top of the fact that it doesn't need to cache every ****ing file, despite source, before it does a burn
