Apparently 4 locos have the same alcohol content of 5 bottles of beer mixed with 12 ounces of caffeine per can.

I think its the combination of caffeine and alcohol that gives it the punch it seems to have. I personally haven't had one. The combination has been researched and found to be safe and these finding have been submitted to the FDA.
