Fosgate T2 16s on the meter

A wall on 6k w/ 2 x 15's does 151.xx with the dude sitting in the car ?
And the Fosgate nuthuggers shall be risen from the ashes and the bass will be so great as to stop the earth from rotating on it's axis and we shall all bow before the greatness of Rockford Fosgate and its retarded little brother Lighting Audio, and let it be so
2 16s

Brett is local to me and a great guy! Please keep in mind that his truck was not built for these, he got them to test and through them in his current box! But it is impressive to see none the less!
It's impressive with 2 10s not 2 16s.

You have to understand the small car audio community that we live in... and the fact that his truck is built for 4 15's (if I remember correctly) so tossing a pair of 16's in with not much change to his system it is in fact impressive!

That's just a large box, and maybe even the optimal size since no one knows parameters yet, for those subs.

So since we are a small community it means a top brand that has been around since the start can be misleading? They can put huge plastic covers over tiny motors, use uselessly large baskets to add weight, print dynamic power on birth sheets? People think they are getting more.. That's just like BOSS in a sence.

So rockford with all its extensive knowledge and technology is using almost the same motor design as a sub that came out in 2010' from a smaller company? That split motor design is nothing new

The true value will be determined with the final price point. If they end up being $10,000 for a 16" sub, then it's a no go. If it ends up being cost competitive, then maybe more of an option for people. Hell, I don't care much for a name in audio. I've seen $20 mids outperform $1,000 sets all day long. Same in subs.

noloud4u, not trying to be a **** but no SQ build shoots for 150 on the meter. Plus a SQ build would do 150 from 25-80hz. lol

SQ means low distortion flat response and proper imaging. having a 150DB substage definitely doesn't qualify

Right..... I was thinking the same thing..... It may "SQ" to the user but, not in a SQL comp.....
