Before I even bother with what’s actually for sale let’s get the tedious bit out of the way…
PAYMENT TYPES ACCEPTED:
PayPal ~ I am a Verified PayPal trader with a Premier Business PayPal account. I can accept E-check, existing account balance (whether it be PayPal account balance or the bank account your PayPal is tied to), and credit card fund transfers.
I CANNOT ACCEPT, under any circumstances, a PayPal payment that does not have a PayPal Confirmed US shipping address associated with it. Due to the type of PayPal account I hold (and the settings I have in place) any payment attempts from accounts without a Confirmed shipping address will immediately be returned to the sender without my ever knowing you tried to pay me. If you do not have a Confirmed shipping address your options are to either get an address Confirmed by PayPal or use one of the alternate payment methods described below.
Money Orders/Cashier’s Checks/Personal Checks ~ I will happily accept any of these types of payments. My preference regarding money orders are the ones available from the US Post Office (Postal Money Orders) as they are the easiest to deal with. I will, however, accept money orders from other vendors.
Good ‘ole cash ~ This type of payment is purely at the discretion of the buyer. This seller will under no circumstances accept responsibility for that cash not actually making it to me. It’s a sad but true fact that there are dishonest people in the world and one or three of those people could potentially be under the employ of the United States Postal Service. If you choose to remit payment in this fashion you will do so at your own risk. I’ll happily accept cash payments but the bottom line is I do not recommend putting cash in the mail.
SHIPPING INFORMATION:
For buyers paying via PayPal with existing account balance transfers or credit cards your purchased item(s) will ship out no later than one (1) business day following my receipt of your payment in full.
The shipping times quoted above will also apply to any buyer(s) paying with mailed Cash. (please see disclaimer listed above regarding payments via cash)
For buyers paying via cashier’s check, personal check, E-check through PayPal, or money order your purchased item(s) will ship out no later than one (1) business day following the payment funds clearing my bank account. Please be aware that this process can potentially take up to seven (7) business days to accomplish. I’m not going to withhold shipment any longer than is necessary but I will not ship anything prior to ensuring I have, in fact, been properly paid.
Actual shipping will be via USPS Priority Service including Delivery Confirmation and shipping insurance. I have sent many, many items using this method and as of yet *knock on wood* I haven’t encountered any foul-ups. I pack my shipped items as if to withstand gale-force winds and moderately severe abuse by shipping clerks/package handlers so no worries there. In the unlikely event that your item does not reach its destination in the same condition it left its origin you’ll have the security of knowing that your shipment is insured for more than you paid for it. J
Scans of the applicable receipts will be sent to the buyer the day that shipping takes place to give the buyer the necessary tracking and insurance amount as well as to show where the package was sent to.
As always with any used audio gear Prowler is selling what you see is what you get. There are no “it worked last time I had it installed,” or “I was told that it works ~ I don’t know what’s wrong with it now!” Every item I offer for sale has been recently tested for operational condition on my own personal test bench. If it is listed as 100% operational then that’s what I ship out. Any flaws present will be included in the description. Please feel free to check my linked references found in my posting signature – both the ones from sales on this forum as well as my 100% eBay feedback linked there as well.
NOW TO WHAT'S ACTUALLY FOR SALE!!!
Rockford Fosgate Series 1 2030 two-channel amplifier $35 shipped and insured
This is a curious little piece to me. I bought it from eBay just because I had never seen one before and I got a decent deal on it. It has been checked (three times now including today) for operational condition and no more has been done with it by me outside of storing it. I have no use for it and I cannot see shipping it overseas when I eventually move so it needs to go. Would make for a good entry-level unit for someone wanting a bit more dynamic range than can be provided solely by their headunit or perhaps it might make a good solution for someone needing a smaller amp to mount under a seat or some similar space-constricted location. 7”(L) x 6 3/8”(W) x 2”(H)
Power ratings (as per the label affixed to the bottom of the unit):
Dynamic Power = 2 x 45w into 2 Ohms
RMS Power = 2 x 30w into 2 Ohms
I will assume that the power into 4 Ohms would be rated at half the above values. There is no ratings given for bridged operation but the wiring diagram on the above-mentioned label shows the wiring configuration for bridged operation so I must assume that bridged operation is possible (Perhaps this would be good for center channel amplification for a mobile 5.1 setup?)
All I’ve got for this (buyer will receive) is the unit itself and its two removable end caps. Reference pictures for specifics.
Orion 222SX two-channel amplifier. $60 shipped and insured
This little amp really speaks for itself. If you know the old-school, Made In USA (before the DEI buyout) Orion then you probably are somewhat familiar with this amp. Given rating is 22 watts per channel into 4 Ohms stereo. There are no 2 Ohm stereo or 4 Ohms bridged ratings given but the amp will operate safely at 2 Ohm stereo or 4 Ohm bridged. Certainly the SX-series amps weren’t the brutes that their HCCA brethren were but actually performance should still exceed rated output to some degree. (though I cannot say with any certainty exactly how much)
This unit was acquired via eBay from an US Air Force pilot stationed at Rammstein in Germany. I do not know whether it was that fellow or someone else who added the excess length and 2nd inline fuse holder to the power wire but that it how it was received by me and I haven’t changed it. When I originally went to test the unit to make certain that it worked prior to leaving feedback for my seller one of the two inline fuses were blown. Not having any suitable replacements handy I simply wrapped the blown fuse with tinfoil just to see if the amp worked. It works fine and I let it play for about two days solid to make sure the reason for the blown fuse wasn’t due to something wrong internally with the amp. Not a big deal but I want to offer full disclosure on the current state of this amp so there are no surprises for a potential buyer. So – this amp works 100% but one of the two fuses needs replacing (if that extra length is left on the power wire) and is currently wrapped in foil.
As can be seen in the pictures the original power and ground wires (plus the excess length on the power cable) along with the plug with the speaker and remote activation leads are still there.
Buyer will receive:
Orion 222SX two-channel amplifier (as pictured) along with a downloaded/printed copy of the original owner’s/installation manual for the SX-series Orion amps.
