Fosgate 1501bd How LOng Will It Last?

my subs are dvc 4 ohm.. i want to run each amp at 2 ohm for each sub how will i do that... the amp is rated at 1600 rms..at 2 ohm what am i thinking at 1 ohm

how long will it last at 1 ohm..because im thinking of getting another one and strapping them together

all day son.

is it reccomended by the RF to do so? if not, probably not as long as you would like to think. however , i havnt used one , so i wouldnt know.

I ran mine at 1 ohm for a whole season , countless burps and played music daily with no problems , my son is using now at 1 ohm too this day .

If you get 2 bd1500.1's and strap them the lowest you can go is 4 ohms (2 ohms per amp) so your subs would be fine .

Maybe ask RF tech support. I wasn’t able to find that either. Sonic electronics and Crutchfield just use the same description as the rf site. True...
