FORUM BUG - Autosubscribe is annoying

about as annoying as fire ants in a hot tub party.

Why is it that this forum auto-subscribes me to threads that I reply in?

Not only is it annoying, but it makes me suspect that "GOOB" has made this a feature to sell more advertisements - based on user contacts.

Regardless, can I correct this? I've ****ed with my User CP >10 times now.
