Pretty much what happened is what is now in the news.. Originally there were stories everywhere.. I was in the same room as one of the guys that had been shot in the forearm and when it came on (the news) he made a comment like "it was nowhere near there" in reference to where the shooting had taken place

It was pretty much a big room with a long desk with 4-5 civilians behind the desk, soldiers were in lines in front of each civilian to get checked off to go to war.. He walked in and said something like "I am not here to kill civilians, just military" and started shooting.

Yes you misunderstood, we are not armed. If for some reason someone did have a weapon, they would not have ammo.

sure, good point. although its usually not tough to spot who's shooting. It's the guy with the gun shooting people. ) Doesn't usually matter what he's wearing....

a skilled shooter in a crowded area could easily rack up that many wounded in less than a minute

sure, but weren't there a bunch of other "skilled shooters" with firearms getting shot at? Just read the story and he did it with 2 pistols... That is some **** good shooting.

Obviously none of us were there, and we will never know exactly what happened. it just seems like an overwhelming amount of people injured especially at a military base. Shame it happened.

Yea def no one has a weapon on base and if they do there guards or MP's. What do you need a loaded weapon for at the chow hall or PX.
