i did relocate ground and sanded for bare metal, it works fin while running off battery but as soon as it kicks the engine on the low rubble will stay on.

there is no whine just a continuous rubble the whole time while the car is running, i also re-ran all the wire to avoid any noise. i heard of the active noise sensors in the car but thought the lc2i would clear that out

You don't have the factory Sony system do you?

Where is your LC2i ground?

no its a se hybrid no equipped, i have a kicker amp and the lc2i ground is with the same ground of the amp to the metal frame in the trunk

Hmmm. I would probably try running a ground from the LC2i to the battery as a test. Just run a long ground wire outside directly to the battery. See if anything changes. Another thing to check would be your gains on the LC2i and the amp. Gain should be pretty low on the amp since the LC2i has up to 9.5 volt rca output.

ok i will try to relcate the ground and i gains are off on the amp so i will check the lc2i thanks for the help i will update if anything changes
