the hate on this forum is crazy not good.

BUT theirs so much good info on here(if you search) you could definitely get well 12v educated and build a hell of a system also.

i wouldnt think twice about putting 2k' on a BL.

one thing you got is that king cab/deadened. that sub is gonna be right on top of you, so thats a big plus. you should be good with what you got for awhile.

i bet youll be happy with the outcome. the big 3 is pretty easy IMO on these trucks except for the engine ground cause if im not mistaken its on the bottom of the engine towards the ******.

deading maks a huge difference in road noise and exhaust etc.

doesnt really matter IMO on what carpet you use. just as long as it stretches good.

we use the 3m Super 77 here at the shop for the adhesive also. Uploading a pic of my big three for you.
