I own an 04 escape... It is a nice vehicle but my 6 cyl only gets 18 mpg...

I've got a 2001 4 cylinder, 5 speed and its great. Without deadening in the front doors something rattles but i plan to fix it. Other than that its fine, got it used for 7Gs and havnt had a problem, except one of the sensors went bad but it doesnt effect anything. I've been driving heavy for about 6 months and still get 26 MPG, started at a constant 28. I got a quote on a 200 AMP alt for like $325... Also, for the other guy, the only spec i remember off the top of my head is that you can get a 38 in. wide box between wheel wells, and the seat back is angled, so unless you angle a box your gonna loose a tad of space. I'd guess 38 wide maybe 36 deep and high as the roof?
