? for you northern fishermen

Lake of the Woods, no you don't have to go into Canada, it is accessible through Minnesota.

Minnesota is called land of 10,000 lakes for a reason, there are TONS of small secluded lakes up in the northern part.

He doesn't want to fish in a pond. Go to the state with most freshwater //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

is it better to fish for pike in a river or lake?
Me and my uncle went on the snake river once on an eddy in the winter for ice fishing and caught lots of northerns, and also in the spring on the actual river and caught quite a few.

I suppose both if you know where to go, my mom is usually the one that goes fishing for them, and usually catches them in the evenings with a spinner-bait and a minnow.

We moved out of Minnesota 18 months ago, and there aren't many pikes down here.
