This may be a dumb question but.... I'm trying to preset the stations on my new deck. All I should have to do is go to the station I want preset, then touch the glide bar under the preset (1-6) for 2 seconds, right? I tried to go to the preset mode by pushing function, then hold the glide bar, but it doesn't do anything, so I'm stuck without presets. Am I doing something wrong or is the deck screwed up? Thanks for any help.

Just seek to the station then hold the Preset (P1-6) button til it shows the station or w/e...you'll get it..

I've been trying that... the box comes up with the station that's already preset, and when I hold it down, it doesn't replace the existing preset. You think my HU is the problem? I've tried it exactly how the book explains it... just doesn't work.

No...mine does that but I got it to work. Im not at my car at the moment but have to leave for work here in a sec so I will post it later tonight if someone else doesn't answer it before then. Later.
