I would send her packing bro, ultimatums get nowhere with me personally and it just sounds like trouble to me.
I am only 30 been with my wife 9 years married 6, I consider myself very lucky after seeing all the marriage failures over the years. Also keep in mind when you become married what was 'yours' becomes boths of yours and if you were to ever divorce chances are you would end up having to sell the house and give her half the money or even worse she could take the house if you had kids etc.

I got married because I am a risk taker and kind of have a 'why the fuck not' attitude, I had a pretty crazy and ****ed up life growing up through my teens until I met my wife and wanted to chill out, stay out of trouble and just chill with my lady and knew it, but again I consider myself very lucky finding the woman I did.

I worked with my wife, and thats how we met.

I'll say this, don't settle for someone just because the status quo says you HAVE to get married, or that you should at any rate. Just think to yourself, can i put up with this person forever, will I ever get to the point that I wouldn't want to be around her? If you can see a lifelong commitment with someone, go for it, but for gods sake, don't do it just to fit in with what society says is the norm.

That's a pretty sad way to be Seth. The way it's supposed to go, if things are on track, is for the relationship to deepen. As much as love hurts at times, it hurts even worse when there is little love in our lives and in ourselves.

The best thing about love is that the more love you give, the more you get. Be miserly with love and you'll see it dry up faster than a puddle of water in the Mojave on a summer day.

I wish things were better for you. Hopefully you'll get it figured out and have a happy life. Then again, there's something to be said for the old country song that said something along the line of that a guy shouldn't get married, instead, every 5 years he should find a woman he hates and buy her a house...LOL!

allright my question is.. how did you come across the women you are now married to.
basicly i look at it like this. or sometimes ask myself, when should i get married. i have yet to date a girl where in my mind im like shit i really wanna merry this girl.. but at the same time, say i let this girl go, i take the chance of remaining single for the rest of my life. is that a chance i am willing to take, will i meet a bad *** chick that i will be happy with the rest of my life...??

all the girls i have dated i do that same thing to, i dont really love them i just get used to them..

im not trying to fit into society, just trying to figure out what i want to do with my life...

good advice.. like i said.. i dunno what i wanna do, i want a trophey wife. i know i can pull one... im a proud person. i mean my girl i have now is fine as **** and all but as the month's go on yes there are quality's i like about her but there are other's i dislike..

when i was younger i tould myself i want a chick that smokes just as mutch weed as i do..

well i dont smoke as mutch as i used to, and my girl will smoke my *** under the table, and i kinda would rather be out messing around with the house or fixing up the basement ect, instead of sitting on the couch smokeing her weed (haha), know what im sizzlin?
