it's a different motor in function and design so it cannot be reconed into an MT... they may be able to recone it with an MT coil but won't do what an MT does. the MT motor has WAY more BL than a XXX motor as far as I know...

i've had it for about 9 months used it on and off--i have 3 different sub/box combo's as far as "softning" up..i'm not sure what you mean but this thing just plain wangs. my problem with it is that it consumes my trunk. i'm switching to 2 12"s simply because i can do more with the box.
