SOLD For Sale! Custom Vifa Passive Crossovers (and tweeters):

I recently converted my front component setup from passive to fully active, so I no longer have a need for these custom built crossovers. The crossover was designed for use with the Vifa M18WN19-04 midbass driver and the Vifa D26NC05-06 neodymium silk dome tweeter.

The crossover frequency is roughly 3200Hz, and features a 6dB slope on the midwoofer (with impedance compensation Zobel) and a 12dB slope on the tweeter (with 2dB L-pad).

The crossover was built according to a LEAP design provided by Madisound. The transition between the drivers is seamless, and the overall sonic picture is very coherent!

These crossovers are built like a tank. The parts used in the construction of these crossovers include:

- Solen air core coils

- Solen poly film capacitors

- Vishay-Dale resistors

I’m also selling the Vifa tweeters, if interested. I’ve got substantial money and labor in these x-overs, but I’m open to reasonable offers. Lowballers will be cheerfully ignored!
