Sold For Sale (Critical Mass, Phase Aliante, Rainbow)

Hi All,

I have a couple of somewhat rare items that I'm trying to get rid of. I will consider reasonable offers but low balling will not get a response. All of this gear is in good, unused or new condition and being sold for far less than the original price.

Even though I am new to this forum, I have refs from DIYMA (links at end of post).

- Rainbow Cal 28s. I'm the 2nd owner, I orignally purchased them from gundecker on this site. I have never installed them. These exact tweeters were used in Shinjohn's extensive tweeter comparison thread.

- 2 Phase Aliante 12si. These are very rare and are often refered to as the best SQ subs you can buy. These subs are new/never seen power and have sequential serial numbers. One of the wooden boxes (particle board bottom) is coming apart. I will ensure very safe packing.

- Critical Mass UL 12. Brand new, taken out of box only for inspection and pictures.

I wouldn't trust this guy....didn't see the feedback, looks a little better, but I still wouldn't buy anything over $75

The pics were old from and older "sale thread" and all of the Alpine, Hybrid and Tube gear is gone.

OP, can you post some pics on the tweeter in the angle ring. I am curious as to how it would mount.

Sorry for the slow reply. I had to take more pictures and unfortunately my camera died before I could take any more.

In any event, I never installed these but the previous owner did (not the angle mounts) and I am unclear as to the best way to use them. As you can see there are two sets of mounts. The flush/flat mounts all have hex bolts (these have minor remnants of black adhesive on them from their last install) and then the angle mounts have no apparent mounting mechanism at all. A hex key is included in the hardware.

There is a guy on DIYMA (AVI) who has lot's of experience with the Cal 28 (he was going to help with my install). If you did run into any trouble, getting some input would not be a problem.

Anyway, here's the close up pics from tonight. Hopefully this helps.

He had this stuff for sale before on DIYMA. I remember because I had the same question about mounting the tweeters as before. He pulled the sale on the tweeters.

No worries! Concerns were/are valid. Honestly I don't do a lot of online buying selling (hence limited feedback), if I do it is usually only on stuff that you don't find very often and I generally try to hold onto it.

Hopefully I have a couple of takers on the rainbows and UL 12 and may be able to keep the Aliantes for a rainy day (being the most rare of everything listed here and no longer being made).
