I have built a daily h22 to rev over 10k though....and it went into a 4dr civic. naturally aspirated with no juice and it made a little ~250hp at the wheels.

the problem with my stories is I have no proof FML

well my car, first time i took it to the track, i was doing high 14's. i have a injen cold air intake, buddy club race header, and buddy club pro-spec catback, motor mount inserts, and tires meant for auto-xing and not drag.

at the end, best time i did was 14.6, and that was with a shitty launch. with the right launch i can hit high 13's, that not bad for a 4 banger with just the basic mods, and want proof, here is my video.

1. a cold air intake and stage 2 clutch and a chipped computer runs at most 1k...thats cuz the h22 clutch is so expensive.

2. FWD = wheel hop...thats why the 60 ft of all honda's ****....that and they are mostly top end

3. if you only have 250 at the wheels on a built h22...then you are doing something wrong....out of a stock d16z6(internally) we can get 180...with just a chipped computer

a basic b20 stock motor without vtec dropped into a crx...total cost 1k tops....and still faster than your "Maverick"

but then again i'm a "honda nuthugger" funny thing is i've owned nothing but domestic except for my last 2 cars....and the rex is and was only intention was to be a daily with spl capabilities...until i purchase another car and fix it to be daily then this one will get the show car treatment.....but then again...its no 8 second in the 1/8th milemaverick
