Class A/B topology. A lot less distortion than your run-of-the-mill Class D Joe-Schmoe amp.

class a/b amy be cleaner, but will beat up the electrical sys more then a class d amp will. . .

RE sub. . get the 12.1 call it a day and have a matching setup. .

yea man, 12.1 but we have to wait a lil while to get it. they're out of stock for another couple weeks. im doin the same thing but w/a 10sx

how much is the 12.1 i was under the impression they were pretty pricey...id say orion 1200D would be a really good match and much better than the viper.

look for a used 9.1 good amps and transferable warrenty

I'd stay away from the Viper 1200. I got mine from all the hype about a year ago, and I started having problems and ironically, all the people that got the amp a year ago started having the same problems...

The amp is pretty much dead and sitting in my garage now, covered in saw dust.

also those vipers arent the cleanest amps around...

good power for the money tho, worked mine to the bone, and still ran great

I had a 1200d orion on a 15sx I didnt like it. Seemed it didnt have enough power for it. It made it move but didnt impress me

I would personaly run a kicker amp before many other amps. I have the sx 1250.1 love it. Also had many of the zr line up and the si as well as the xs and they were all amazing and last a great amount of time daily. Only had one poop out on me and it had been through about 30 people localy before I got it.
