I filed taxes on just a hair under $40K gross for sitting on my arse driving a raggedy truck 12-14 hours a day. Out of that 12-14 hours I only actually work possibly 5 hours total. Congrats on getting a job. It feels good to earn some money huh? I actually got a job down at a TV/Audio Repair store yesterday. The reason I got that job was because my brother's roomates' girlsfriends' Godparents own the store. And it's right around the area i'll be moving to. It's nothing special right now but starting off at 8/hr. After a few months it should be around 10 (isn't bad, but not the best). I used to work as an apprentice for a tile layer. Well a few different construction jobs, one was like 15/hr, the other was like almost 40/hr. But you bust your *** ALL DAY. I made $5.15 at my first job at McDonald's, so I'm not gonna hate.

When you turn 18, check out Costco, if there's one around you. When I started 3 years ago, I was making $10hr. Now I'm making $20hr, which has been ~50k a year so far.

Yeah I make $5.15 at DQ, but I love this job. Everywhere I look, hot *****es workin around me. Best of all, I met my new manager, she is ****in hot! she is only like one month older than me too, she turns 18 next month. It was coo, I called work yesterday, and they told me I had to work 5 - Close, so I came in at five, and my hot manager is like, you don't have to work today, but you can close with me if you want to. So I said hell yea. It was pretty cool tho I guess, even tho we didnt get done until 11pm and I had final exams today.
