focal k2p's, pioneer 720prs, or bostan pro 60s

which would you guys recommend? i listen to mostly rap and rock. i also like acoustic stuff like jack johnson and john mayer and sometimes a lil techno/trance as well.

Never had the Focals so can't comment on them, but had the Pioneer Premiers and replaced them with the Boston Pro60s (which are also now for sale... lol) and loved them both to be honest. If you can, go and listen to them for yourself. The Bostons will get a little louder because the mids are 3 ohms, so they can pull a bit more out of your amp than the 4 ohm Premiers will, but the SQ on both is excellent. I don't know that I'd put one over the other... the Premiers had a bit of a warmer sound to them in my opinion, but the Bostons' highs scream! Not in a harsh way like MBQ... kinda hard to describe. Like I said, the best way to know what you'll like is to listen to them both.

The 720 are better than the BA's for the money! $250.~$350. And I think they sound flater(better)than the 60's. But I did not hear a night & day difference so I stuck with my $300.+ Boston's. If I had nothing, I'd get the 720's. Have not heard those Focal's.
