Focal K2 Power 130KR 5.25" vs. Cheaper 6.5" Options

I have a 1984 Ford F350 that i'm getting ready to upgrade the audio in. It only has 2 speakers so I really wanted to go with the very best I can considering that fact. The openings for the speakers are exactly 5" and there is 4" of depth to work with. So I can fit many 6.5" speakers as well as 5.25" speakers. Money really isn't an issue... i just want the best possible speakers I can fit without any major modding.

My Question is what would you go with... If there is anything I'm looking for besides a great set of great sounding speakers it would be BASS. I will be purchasing an amp to go with whatever I decide on.

5.25" Option:

Focal K2 Power 130KR

or

6.5" Options:

Kicker QSS654

JL Audio C3-600

Infinity Kappa 60.11cs

Rockford Fosgate Power T165-S

Any other options I'm missing? I'm just going by what crutchfield says will fit.

I like the kr sets. Fical like any other speaker company. Focuses on their higher end equipment which these fall in that line. You won't be dissatisfied My buddy has a set of the kr 165 power components and loves them but he sold the car and has a truck so they won't fit in the doors.

I actually saw the audiofrog gb60 which would fit in my truck. I just don't know anything about how I would add a tweeter or whatever. Would I need to buy a crossover?
To make a 2-way component system you buy GB60, GB15, and GB615C. GB615C is the crossover for the 6.5" woofer and 1.5" tweeter.

It doesn't matter if you spend $200 or $2000 on a set of door speakers, if you don't install them correctly. Without proper door treatment and mounting, nothing will sound its best. You need to look into deadening and sealing your doors and also sealing the speakers against the door panel.

But my vote is also for the Focals. I have owned a few component sets and coax's from the low end Axis to the Higher end Utopia and have always been very happy with them.

The plan was definitely to do the job right and dynamat the doors. Thanks for the input...

So if I did the 6.5 audiofrog mid... I'd have to pick a tweeter right? How would I go about doing that? Would I need a crossover?
