Focal FP2.150 and 33KX Sub

Hi,

I was recommended by a shop for this sub combo:

Focal FP2.150 with 33KX sub

I want a tight and accurate sub for the car, I don't play loud at all. Will be getting Focal K2P installed for the fronts. For the time being, they'll be running off headunit amp (Pioneer 980BT).

Current setup:

Bose amp with bose speakers (front, rear and 2x 6x9 subs mounted in the trunk)

In a week, the front speakers will be replaced with Focal K2P's

I was debating whether the Focal sub is a good choice, or the following:

JL Audio 500/1 amp with 12w7 sub in a sealed enclosure

I was told the w7 requires a ported enclosure? Or would even a w6 fit my requirement? No need to play loud, but good quality tight bass.
