I strongly disagree. The Type S and Type R mids can't even compete with the Focal Access line, IMO. I've ran all of them. I don't know if that's what you are comparing, but the Access line still cost more than the S and the R? Their bottom line is the Auditor series. The Type S can probably compare to those? From what I have experienced with focal, there is a huge gap with their price points. Basically top end is some of the best and low end is not much better the some alpines type s
I enjoyed the Polyglass experiences I've had. Sure, they aren't dirt cheap, but they didn't let me down, and sounded as they should.I concur I have ran access and polyglass and these don't compare to the entry level alpine. Not even close
If you're still looking for some clean power' date=' JL Slash Series were/are pretty popular for that. Rated power @ any working impedance and voltage (Regulated), High S/N, low THD.
Nice amplifiers and very affordable pre-owned.
Just throwing out another option. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif[/quote']
They are pretty solid. Been considering swapping out my amps for a pair of 450/4 and a 1000/1. Would save a lot of money if I did too
