Focal Access or Hertz Hi-Energy

I am trying to decide on wither the Focal 165 A1 or Hertz HSK-165 for the fronts and either the Focal 570 CA1 or Hertz HCX-165 for the rears. They are going into a 2011 F150 SC. Power will be supplied from an Alpine PDX-F4 at 100w/channel. I am looking for any input anyone has on these. Trying to keep the budget around $500 for front and rears.

Planning on 2 Alpine SWR-T12's or 2 SI BM MKIV's if and when they start manufacturing again.

I'd have to say Hertz on this one, I've heard both and the Hertz just sounds better all around. Warmer sound, more detailed and easy to listen to for long periods of time.

Then again I could be a bit skewed. I listed to the Focals , then hopped in and listen to some focal utopias (which made the access sound like doo-doo lol) then listened to the hertz.

Thanks for the input. I was able to listen to the HSK 165's, the 165XL, and Audison AV K6's at a local dealer. The XL sounded the best of the three (my opinion and ear). I will be going with the XL's up front and the ECX 570's for the rear. Got lucky and scored an Audison LrX 5.1k to run it all. Should sound great once everything is installed.

I hear great things about the Hertz Mille series. Some 'mainstream' car audio publications rank them #1, over Focal's Be Utopia №. 5 (Not 7).

But of course I have a tube magazine from Korea that ranks the Be №.7 series over everything, but I swear I saw an article about rotational velocodensity.
