I just installed a JL Audio HD 750 Class D sub amp in my 2010 Challenger R/T with the 7 speaker system. The FM reception has gone to crap. When I unplug the amp it sounds normal, but plug it in and the reception immediately gones bad. I can unplug the power wire or the rca's and it quits.
A little info: I tapped into the rear deck subwoofer with a line level converter for RCA's undid that and tapped into the passenger side speaker, no difference, I swapped rca's with no difference.
I ran power to the battery and remote turn on to the rear fusebox, I grounded the amp where the battery is grounded and also on the chassis with no difference.
It must be the amp, right? Anybody else ran into this while installing an amp?
Thanks
