My FM reception is fine for the powerful rock/pop stations. But for my NPR 88.7 in Houston, there is so much static, popping and noise that I can't stand it and just turn it off.

I have a Honda Civic SI with the factory radio. The antenna is mounted to the top of the car in the rear. I've checked to make sure that it is screwed on tight (by hand). Don't know what else to do...

Is it the radio?

Can I get a better antenna?

I seem to remember this with previous Hondas... any truth to that?

Many thanks...
