flying all day thursday

I will be flying from columbia,sc to atl,ga. to detroit and then across the ocean to amsterdam. I wake up at 5:00am thursday to begin my journey and shouldnt be finished flying until mid-friday. What are some things to keep me from being completely bored? I only have 200songs on my mp3 player, so i will listen to all of them and be bored. i am sure they will have a movie playing or what ever, but it might not even be good. I wouldnt mind trying to read a book or some magazines. I will probably buy a hightimes in the airport, but my mom wants to get me a mag. or book. Any suggestions on a good book? I am excited, but worried the flying will bore the crap out of me.

well i figured the flight would be direct from atl, but for some reason i have to fly to detroit. but that is besides the point, i have to take this route and it will take a while. Any suggestions to keep my occupied?

it would ruin my entire day if i started off with a homeless dude bustin a nut on my forehead. That is a wrap for the entire day right there.

How long is the layover in DTW? If its a while, and in the McNamara Terminal, then theres some stuff to do since it is only a couple years old. If you fly into the Smith Terminal, you'll be b-o-r-e-d!
