But when the people around me sing those gay songs all the time, over and over, they just get worse and worse.

I haven't had HBO since the Wire went off, so if the new season is out I haven't seen it.

Season 1 was funny as hell though. I felt it needed an hour, but 30 minutes was just enough. It had that subtle humor like the Office.

I caught the first season when it first came out on HBO, i loved it and now own it on dvd. I probably wouldn't like the songs if i hadn't watched the show. Novelty bands aren't that great on their own, but when you see the story behind the songs, its magical.

I've seen the show... friends are fanatics.

It's funnyish, but they push the awkward moments to the point that it's just not funny anymore. Like the creepy neighbor lady... the conversations between them are about 5 minutes too long. They just don't know when to say 'cut.'

And I still maintain the songs are as annoying as hell even when you've seen the show.
