Flared Port Size/Qty...?

I am going to be building a fiberglass box with flared port(s).... as per previous thread...

But I am now wondering about how many ports I need...

It will house a 12W7, with 1000W RMS or so....

I want to have 2, but at the volume the ports are way longer than they sell...

Is 1 ok?! 4"

No man, stick with two 4" aero's or a single 6". Check out this website...............

You can just by the ends and interconnect them with som Schedule 40 PVC. You can just by some elbows to make bends in the port if it is to long. This is also a great website about PVC ports............

Okay, I got a question...

on this page, there is a port calculator...

The box will be about 2.0cuft.... I want to tune to 32hz, and I want to have 2 - 4" ports... it says I need 31" length -- is that 2 31" ports, or 2 15.5" ports?!?!
