There's a longer way to do it too, It involves converting it to .wav than from .wav to .mp3

I dont convert flac to .mp3s. lol Most flac music i have I already have Mp3 copies. But it seemed like a nice program so I just thought u might want to give it a shot. U could try to oink way too if u wanna learn some new things.

hoss, why would you download a flac files and then compress them to mp3's? flac are lossless quality. they are perfect. mp3's are compressed so the quality suffers.

im assuming your downloading using oink...

if so may i suggest MP3 V0 files? they are the smallest, best quality files around. they are variable bit rate, and are higher quality than 320kbps constant bit rate files. its not a good idea to download flacs on oink, only to convert them to something inferior, and get penalized in your ratio //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif . hell you wont be able to tell 192kbps files usually, but with the V0 format you get better quality AND smaller size.

I would convert the mp3 to wav then use Exact Audio Copy with the lame mp3 encoder add-on.

yeah, i am using oink, still learning it all... i needed to convert them because i couldnt find a way to burn the flac files to CD's, and i couldnt get wmp or zune (i use it to stream to my xbox 360) to recognize the flac files in my library. they would play in a playlist, but that did me no good, need them in the library.

i will look into the vo format from now on.
