lol where can i get instrument packs, that was the reason i stopped using FL 7, all of the instruments that came with it sounded fake and I couldnt get the sound i was looking for out of it... it could also be just because i ****...

yeah, the stock sounds are garbage. you can find instrument packs & vst instruments lots of places. online, guitar center, etc. check http://www.producersedgemagazine.com/ for some info in tweaking sounds, etc.

well i worked on two complete tracks on FL for a total of about 9 hours work. they're arent the final version but they sound pretty aiight.

I"ve made a few songs with FL 7 and 8, been using it for 2 years now. it's pretty easy once u figure out what all the packs of different sounds make hten you can choose and build your song/beat from there. and makin basslines are easy as well. lot of producers for pop/rap use FL i can tell by the sounds.
