Fixing Rust

Has anyone had a rust problem ?? and how did you go about fixing it? I have some rust issues on my passenger side door panel .. and would like to fix it myself ..

surface rust or rust that ate a hole? If its surface rust use sandpaper or a grinding brush on a drill to take it off. If it ate a hole you can do the cheap way and bondo it if it isnt bad or you can go to the junk yard and cut out a patch panel, weld it in, then put a skim coat of bondo on it.

use ospho after you grind out most of it and before bondo. I used to paint high end cars.

you can buy some stuff at auto zone and spray on the rusted areas it makes it like new again

POR 15 is da bomb! I use it on my cars, a gallon on ebay can be had for ~140 I think.

just like its a rust drain(stain) that looks like its seeping down the side and i was curious on how to get rid of the staind.. ill get more pics when i get home
