i feed my ball 8-12" rats on occasion and there is never any blood. my 6 foot savannah monitor on the other hand used to make a huge mess of stray cats and dogs tho lolz

chewy got loose several years ago he was actually closer to 7 feet nose to tail he was not a caged animal.

The Savannah Monitor (Varanus exanthematicus) is a species of monitor lizard native to Africa. The species is known as Bosc's Monitor in Europe, since a French Scientist named Louis Bosc first described the species.[1]

This species is readily available in the pet trade. Juvenile animals are collected from several countries in West Africa (mainly Ghana, Togo, Benin and Nigeria) and exported worldwide. Animals sold as "captive bred", "captive farmed" or ranched are most often the offspring of gravid females collected during the breeding season.The eggs are later incubated by exporters. However, Savannah Monitors have been bred in captivity with some degree of regularity. Adult specimens sometimes become unwanted pets due to their large size.

Bosc's Monitor is often confused with the Whitethroat Monitor (Varanus albigularis) which can grow to lengths of 1.5–2 meters (5–6 feet).

I have a place near me that specilizes in exotic freshwater and salt water fish. Thats where i stole my hybrid parrotfish from. I think they were $90 for all 4, they were $30 a piece but dude said he'd take $90 cuz they had been there for over a year.

I know what a sav is, and I've never seen one more than about 5.5 feet. There you are saying you had a 7 foot one though lmfao. Quit dude, its not cool. Find me a pic of one online even that is 7 feet long.

i bet you never saw a 12" feeder goldfish either huh? and i said closer to 7 feet nose to tail they measure them at body length not including tail. nile monitors get to 7-9 feet in body plus upto 5 feet more on the tail

i posted factual info and i doubt you have seen more than i have my family owned and operated tropical pets unlimited in utah for over 25 years we had 3 stores at 1 point.
