I'm going to see how it goes without doing the roof. It worked out good in my chev truck doing all but the roof so we'll see.... I have over 200sq. feet in there now.

this is going to sound like a dumb Q, but whan you put the carpet back in the car do you use some kind of a glue on the RAMMat so the carpet wont move around?

And how long did it take you?

was it pretty simple to install. Ive done lots of dynamat in vehicles and its a pain to work with at times. Im ordering bxt and ensolite real soon. How was teh ensolite to install. Did you use raamats spray glue?

I never had a problem with the carpet moving in my truck after installing deadener, though after I put back down the felt stuff, seats, and trim I don't think that could ever be a problem. The layer of ensolite(which is very easy to use and install), is kind of tacky, so even a loose area of carpet would stay put. The RAMMat is very easy to use. It is super soft and pliable....only the back side of a screwdriver for the tight bumps is needed, and NO cuts. I did use the glue Rick provides, and I highly recommend that stuff. I do have alot of hours into this job, but the door access covers took some time...the actuall install of the material isn't bad at all. I suppose around $450.....

A side note....I had to order a bit more ensolite to finish the job, and the stuff he is substituting now is almost identical...just a tad stiffer. I almost felt it was even easier to use.

I just placed an order for 2 100sqft rolls of Raammat and 5 yards of ensolite. It's goign to be going into a 99 Sebring coupe. Should deaden it down quite a bit.

Definitely looking good, those doors are sealed off as well as I've seen. What did you use for the access covers? Some sort of sheet metal I'm guessing, but how thick is it and how did you attach it do the doors?

I used around 18 guage aluminum to cover the holes. Nice thing is I had My maintenance guy cut them out with the templates I made from cardboard. I pre drilled, and attached them with screws. Also hammered some areas to bend where needed.
