First new monitor is here.......

it's the least of my worries, really
my old monitor was a 3 or 4 year old lcd, and even with the brightness turned all the way down on this one, my eyes are having a hell of a time adjusting

i could sit and look at my old monitor with no lights on, and my eyes would be fine

these newer monitors are just too **** bright, i can feel my brain ripping in 1/2
Yup, I'm the same way still. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif Not as bad as when I first got it, but you can definitely tell a big difference.

I went from a 5 year old flat screen (not a flat panel) CRT monitor to the LCD. Quite a bit of difference.

I've wanted to buy new monitors for a while but I just never have the money. I'm almost always on my computer so it would be a solid investment. That's a pretty good price for those monitors as far as the specs go. Right now I have a CRT 19" and my tv running in dual monitor mode. It's so ghetto but it works.

i'd been wanting to do this for a long time also

and then for christmas, i got my dad to agree to go 50/50 on a new tv, or new monitors, so i decided it was time

i spend a lot of time on my computer, plus i don't have cable, let alone hd cable, or any sort of hd dvd player, so i decided monitors were the way to go

I got the exact same monitor //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif.

I love it, my video card rules so it with the card is a dream come true, o and the DVI cables help alot imho.

been cutting costs to go back to school this semester
i took a semester off, and felt like a bum

time to get back in the groove
Yeah my parents help me out whenever I'm in school (with money and stuff) but I'm taking this semester off and well I don't get help if I'm not in school. Sooooo we shall see how will this goes, hahaha.

Tommy thx for the link btw. Both look like solid monitors for the price, whenever I get settled in with the adjustments on having to pay for everything now, I'll see if I can't pick up some new screens //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif.

that vga cable it came with was a JOKE, hahaha

when my DVI cable came in the mail today, it was such a relief

that vga cable had all sorts of interference, and scan lines, ugh

i still don't know if DVI vs. VGA is a big deal, but that VGA cable was terrible

Yeah the only negative about mine is that it has only the standard analog input. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

Oh well, i'm satisfied.

nah, it was just a junk cable is all

i really don't think it makes much difference, especially with a better monitor

it was the thinnest cable i think i've ever seen, looked like a piece of coax

Lemme know how three look when you get it all hooked up //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif.

Yeah, that makes sense. I wasn't really sure if it would make a visible difference or not.

Now all I have to do is install my dvd burner that I got for xmas as well so i can start watching some widescreen movies. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
