holy shiet........... where have u beendont max out your cards if you cant afford to pay em off at the end of the month
thats what i want to do, like build up my credit score so its good and use it minimally, and just use cash/debit to buy things...I use my credit card for most things then I immediately pay it off through my online banking. The reasons:
1) I increase my credit rating.
2) Increased protection through the ability to dispute charges as well as an extra year of warranty on any products I buy.
3) Quicker, easier purchases.
Of course, I know how to manage my money whereas most people don't.
dont give him attitude dude.....it would be a better idea for u to use ur bank card so u can over spend urself..........assuming u have a lower paying job (no offence, but ur youngish im guessing, and thats the kind of jobs kids have)ok dad
thanks for the info captain obvious.

That slippery slope doesn't happen to everyone.it always starts with JUST The gas.
Then it gets convient to take a girl out to dinner, and one thing leads to another, and youll end up with terrible credit and paying out the azz for finance charges, late fees, etc before you know it.
happened to me, dont reccomend it.
Why not? I use it for 99% of purchases.Old rule of thumb about credit cards is to never use it for consumables, things that you buy and use up immediately.
No, the rule is to use a credit card for things you CAN afford, plain and simple.
If you have a $10k limit on your card, $436.65 in the bank, and only deposit $127.67 into your bank account after paying bills, you do the math.....
