First Amp Install

Well I just scored a 4 channel Profile HA1040 amp to power all 4 of my speakers and now need help on how to install. This will be my first amp install and I know its going to be harder than the other stuff done so far. So what am I suppose to do?? Im going to buy a 4 GA wiring kit...what are some of the norms that need to be in it? Also what am I suppose to do for wiring the speakers to the amp?? The rears should be easy but for the fronts am I going to have to removing the existing wiring and route new wires from the front speakers to the trunk and then run RCAs to the back of the headunit? If so what should I do with the wires connected to the back of the headunit already cut those??? I could really use some help with this cuz I have no clue what Im doing with this type of install.

If you guys could recommend someone in IL close to chicago/dekalb thats good on installs and could guide me would be much help!!!! Also If im forgetting anything tell me I want to learn to do this myself but I also dont wanna burn down my car.
