Firing up or down ??

I have a DD9512, I am going to build a new enclosure for it and I want to have the sub firing up or down with the port coming out of the back. Which way would be better to fire the sub, up or down? Any benifits or drawbacks to either? It will be used for daily with about 2000rms in a suburban.

i would just do port and woofer firing to the rear, but if i had to pick one, i would go up with it.

are you talking about downfiring the woofer to the floor or just inverting it? have ing it play down would just be retarted if you have the space to fire it up

just depends on the requirements of what you are working with.
