i'm debating on weather i like ie7 better than firefox now. ff is a resource hog.

no, but its just pathetic how dorks like you think its sooo cool to point out that its been known that firefox is better for years. sorry i do use my computer alot, but i dont revolve my life around it like you do. try not to bust on your keyboard when the next version of ff comes out

I like Opera better than Firefox ...
Reasons:

- The Wand

- Mouse Gestures

- Built-in Torrent client

- Best pop-up blocker of any browser

- Most secure browser

- Fastest browser on my computer

- Useful widgets

There are a few things Opera doesn't have which Firefox does:

- Firefox displays caraudio.com properly

- Firefox has a built-in spell checker, which is really nice

Firefox has a better pop up blocker now, as well as mouse gestures. Look for the extensions...

Firefox has mouse gestures and have never had a pop up with it....besides theres a million and a half addons for firefox....

Its time to get IE7

I love Firefox too. I have been using it for about a year or so, and now I can't live without it. Great popup blocker, awesome security, great speed. Also, tons of addons. Add search engines build in at the top (IE7 stole that idea from FF) to search almost any search engine. Adblock plus (an addon) blocks all annoying ads, like ones that should be at the top of this screen (which I don't see).

There are a few bugs I have come across, that kinda pisses me off, but it doesnt happen very often:

1. If FF stops responding, and you have to manually end the process, cache is automatically cleared (surfing with 28.8kbs, so cache is absolutley necessary).

2. On the newest version, FF 2.0 I think, Alt-S is a shortcut for a file menu, which is a quick shortcut for posting replys on this site. I don't have that version on my computer, but that's annoying.

Noo seriously, and if u do need an IE environment, just get IE Tab extansion. Works great

i like firefox, but like has been said, its a resource hog, and for some reason, when i download anything, the browser will lock for like 15 seconds, all my other programs are cool but i can't use the browser, then once the download pops up (and has been downloading the file for those 15 seconds it was locked) it comes back. its rather annoying, so i mostly use opera or ie7 for the sites that opera isnt compatible with or just doesnt display right. would use opera exclusively if it displayed everything right, you know, had some rich cocksucker like bill gates to pay everyone to build their websites around it.

i also have random problems with firefox and ie crashing? never had it with opera. maybe i just need more ram since i run so many programs at once?

ive been using FF now for a few years and like it, but theres some sites it doesnt display properly so I still use IE for some sites.

Also when downloading movies or audio files from websites FF says it is missing a plugin but when I do a search for the plug in, it cant figure what it needs so it says there isnt one available, dont know what thats all about. I maily use it for listening to XM radio online, so I just use IE.
