You have to first restart firefox, then you will see an icon in the very lower right panel of firefox. When you go to a page with an embedded video, double click that icon and it will ask you how you want to save it.

I won't even see the Icon, I DL'ed the file and installed it and restarted firefox, but didn't work.

When you close firefox, do a ctl-Alt-Del and see if "firefox.exe" is in the processes tab, if it is, end it and open firefox again.
