FIQ 12" vs. 4 AQ 8's

Right now I have 3 AQ 8's running on a AQ1200D and the tuning is a little high, around 38hz. so I'm gonna build a new box for them but now I'm wondering if I should add another 8 or put in the 12" Q. I'm going to upgrading the amp to either a AQ2200d or a sundown 1500d, kinda just depends on ehat kinda deals I can find. Any opinions on what you guys think would sound better would be appreciated.

Good point I guess I didn't really specify, probly wanting to go louder and the 8's sound good I think maybe I just need to throw more wattage to them. any ideas how loud the 12" Q would sound/take 2200 watts?
